WB found new Lara Croft
Studio Warner Bros. has finally found an actress for the role of the new Lara Croft , writes the portal The Hollywood Reporter . Last month it was reported that Daisy Ridley was in talks with the management of the major, but after that she managed to subscribe to several more new projects.There were no other contenders for the role of Lara Croft , and the source now reports that Alicia Vikander will play the brave Tomb Raider in the reboot of the franchise. Young Lara Croft will be at the center of the events of the new film: the creators of the project intend to devote the audience to the backstory of the heroine. Written by Marty Knoxon, Hawke Ostby, Evan Dougherty, and Mark Fergus, the screenplay was based on a 2013 video game that kicked off the series' reboot. Roar Uthaug ("The Wave") has been chosen to direct the blockbuster.  Alicia Vikander is the winner of the Oscar award for her role in the film A Girl from Denmark.
