Spike TV ordered the pilot of ”Fog” on King

Image The works of the King of Horrors Stephen King continue to haunt the minds of the TV industry. According to the information portal Entertainment Weekly , Spike TV ordered the filming of the pilot of a series based on the story "Fog" , published in 1984.

Recall that earlier this work of King was already filmed - in 2007, it was used for the feature film "Mist" with Marsha Gay Harden and Thomas Jane. The ending of the tape was very different from the ending of the story itself, which caused conflicting reviews among the writer's fans.

The Mist plot revolves around a group of residents of a small town in Maine. They were all in the supermarket when the streets were covered with such a thick fog that it was impossible to see even your hand in it. No one could understand the nature of this phenomenon, and soon the store's visitors had more serious problems - disgusting and very aggressive creatures began to appear out of the fog one by one, bringing death to everyone who dares to go out ...

Spike TV VP Sharon Levy promises that the new Fog will be"compelling, unlike other TV shows". The pilot will be executive produced by Christian Thorpe, who was assigned to the project last fall.

According to the source, "Fog" will be the first attempt by Spike TV to conquer the general public after the channel decided to move away from purely male audience content and try its hand at entertaining series for all.
