Casting: Showdown Schoolgirls and Lazy Santa
According to the publication Deadline , the cast of the military drama " Yellow Birds " has a double replenishment - he was joined by Jack Houston and Jennifer Aniston .Tye Sheridan and Alden Caleb Ehrenreich will star in the film, based on the novel by Iraq War veteran Kevin Powers. Alexander Moors is in the director's chair of the project. The original was adapted by Kevin Powers and co-authored with David Lowry. In the center of the action are two young soldiers who became friends while still at the recruit camp. The eldest of the guys ( Ehrenreich ) promised his newly minted friend ( Sheridan ) that he would take care of him. But in a war, this promise, as it turned out, is not so easy to fulfill ...   Houston will play Senior Sergeant Sterling , replacing Benedict Cumberbatch, who left the project, and Aniston will play the role of the mother of the hero Sheridan . Jack Houston recently completed the historical epic Ben Hur and the comedy horror film Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. The actor also planned to start filming a new version of "The Crow", but due to the bankruptcy of the studio Relativity the project remained in limbo. Aniston , in turn, recently got the lead role in the drama What Alice Forgot, and now Jennifer is starring in the new comedy "Mother's Day".  The same source reports that Blake Jenner (The Losers / Glee ) will be joining Hayley Steinfeld on the set of the Besties comedy by STX Entertainment .The film will focus on two schoolgirls, whose relationship is cracking after one of the girls ( Steinfeld ) finds out that her older brother is dating her best friend. Jenner got the role of that same brother. Kelly Framon will direct the filming according to her own script, and the cast also includes Woody Harrelson, Kira Sedgwick and Hayden Szeto.  Finally, George Lopez (Robot Life) has the lead role in the comedy Aloha Santa , which will begin filming in December. The actor will playthe lazy and infantile adopted son of Santa Claus , forced after the death of his father to take over his duties. During a test flight in a sled a few days before Christmas, the newly minted Santa gets into an accident in the Hawaii region, from where he has to get out before the holiday.The script was written by Adam Davis, Mike Davis and Jonathan Youdis ...
