Amy Winehouse will receive a biopic
The tragic life story of the singer Amy Winehouse will be reflected in a biographical drama, in which Noomi Rapace is invited to star, reports The Hollywood Reporter .Kersten Sheridan (August Rush) is working on the script for the film, and she will subsequently lead the shooting of the biopic. The project is produced by Alexandra Whitlin, Tristan Lynch and Joshua D. Morer. The source reports that negotiations are currently underway with Amy 's father, Mitch Winehouse, who owns the rights to the singer's musical heritage. The debut album Winehouse titled Frank received rave reviews from critics, but the album, released in 2006 - "Back to Black" , brought the girl fame. Amy popularized the soul music genre, paving the way for many young talented performers. Died Winehouse in July 2011 from alcohol poisoning.
