As it became known to the journalists The Hollywood Reporter , the studio Lionsgate has acquired the rights to film the graphic novel Z-Men .The main characters of the comic book published by Double Take areSecret Service agents, Stewart and Clancy , whom US President Lyndon Johnson entrusted with the investigation of a series of mysterious murders in Pennsylvania. At first, the story resembles the plot of old-school cop films, but when the walking dead meet in the path of detectives, it becomes obvious that the creators of Z-Men drew inspiration from George Romero's cult horror "Night of the Living Dead". The bosses of Lionsgate are currently looking for a writer and director for the film.  Double Take is owned by Take-Two Interactive Software , for which Z-Men will be the second collaboration with Lionsgate b>.
