Nelson Mandela will receive his miniseries
As reported by EW , director Kevin Hooks will lead the filming of a mini-series about Nelson Mandela for BET Networks . The project about the first black president of South Africa was named Madiba . Madiboy this outstanding historical figure was called by his compatriots-South Africans. The plot will be based on two books by Mandela : Conversations With Myself and Nelson Mandela by Himself .Hooks has worked on popular series such as Agents of SHIELD. ( Marvel's Agents of SHIELD ) and "Lost" ( Lost ), and in total, his filmography includes almost 80 projects. BET Networks previously broadcast The Book of Negroes TV show about a girl kidnapped in Africa and sold into slavery. The creators of the series are currently looking for a performer for the role of Nelson Mandela , and production of the project will start this summer in South Africa.
