Invasion of the Titans continues on TV
As reported by Anime News Network , the adaptation of the post-apocalyptic manga Invasion of the Titans will receive a TV spin-off. At the moment, more than 45 million copies of the manga have been sold, which in 2013 already became the basis of the plot of the popular anime series.Invasion of the Titans is set in a world in which humanity was nearly destroyed by the invasion of huge humanoids. The survivors begin the construction of the settlement, which is surrounded by a triple ring of high walls. Over a hundred years, people began to forget about giants, but one day they had to take up arms again ... The series will be directed by Shinji Higuchi, who directed two feature films based on Rise of the Titans . The premieres of both films will take place this year. Reportedly, the plot of the show will be closely related to the events of these films, which will allow the performers of the main roles in the dilogy Higuchi to return to familiar images.  The first part of " Invasion of the Titans " will hit theaters in Japan this summer. The date of the premiere of the series has not yet been announced.
