Hollywood is preparing a biopic by Alexander Solzhenitsyn
Interest in USA history could become a new trend in Hollywood. A few days ago, Leonardo DiCaprio expressed a desire to play three famous historical figures at once, after which the management of the Lenfilm studio announced plans to invite the main favorite of the race for the Oscar award for the role of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin. Meanwhile, the American company Primeridian Entertainment decided to move the biopic of another prominent figure in the history and culture of the 20th century off the ground.According to The Tracking Board , Alexander Solzhenitsyn will be chaired by Emmy winner Bruce S. McKenna, who is to adapt D.M. Thomas " Alexander Solzhenitsyn: a century in his life ". According to producers Arkady Golubovich and Tim O'Hare, the life story of a USA nonconformist, activist and writer deserves to be told from the big screen. The bosses of Primeridian Entertainment announced their desire to shoot a biographical drama about the Nobel Prize laureate in literature a few years ago, but then it failed to get into production. Insiders have yet to say whether Cyrus Naurastech, who was appointed to helm the project in May 2013, will retain the director's chair.  Primeridian Entertainment is currently preparing to release the film adaptation of Dave Eggers' novel A Hologram for the King, starring Tom Hanks.
