Nelson Mandela will get his own movie
Celine Rattray's Maven Pictures and producers Trudie Styler and Jacques Lewis begin work on the adaptation of the bestselling book Good Morning, Mr. Mandela ( Good Morning Mr. Mandela ) by Zelda La Grange . The portal Deadline reports about it.In the book, La Grange told the true story of her friendship with former South African President Nelson Mandela, which lasted more than ten years. For many years, the author was a personal assistant and the right-hand man of a politician and revolutionary. The work covers the time from the moment Mandela was released from prison in 1990 until his death in 2013. La Grange grew up racially isolated in South Africa among people who viewed Mandela as a terrorist. Despite this, Zelda received an invitation to take up the post of secretary to the then president.  Maven Pictures has a track record of Ten Thousand Saints, Dirt and Imogen, and the studio's next project, the comedy drama American Honey starring Shia LaBeouf, will be released in this year.
