Kung Fu Panda has tackled the US box office
After several weeks of unconditional dominance of the seventh part of the space saga and Hugh Glass 's emotional survival story in the wild, the American box office needed new blood. Kung Fu Panda 3 would be a worthy conclusion to the trilogy, but given Hollywood's love of sequels, we should expect another cartoon about the cute warrior Po .  Until the beginning of March, until Zootopia is released, Kung Fu Panda 3 will have no worthy competitors in the segment of animated films, and therefore the new creation Dreamworks has a whole a month to entertain a family audience and keep making money.  The second position is occupied by the leader of the last week - the Western " Survivor " Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu . Additional $ 12.4 million went to the picture's piggy bank, and now its total gross is $ 138.2 million . The other day Leonardo DiCaprio's acting was awarded a Screen Actors Guild Award , and the Oscar is on the nose. And while Leo fans froze in anticipation, The Survivor continues to amaze viewers not only in their native cinemas, but around the world - $ 274.8 million including household fees.  Another top-5 veteran, the blockbuster Star Wars: The Force Awakens , came in at number three this week. It is curious that both the film JJ Abrams and The Survivor , which suffered from the snowstorm the week before last Jonas , lost only 23% of the audience. The sequel is still far from the result of the first part, and the critics were not enthusiastic about the tape, but of all the comedies on the schedule of cinemas Mission to Miami looks so far the most digestible.
