Casting: Approved Eric Draven and the Deadly Fungus
Earlier we wrote that Jack Houston was in talks to take part in the filming of the remake of The Crow. Now the portal Variety announces that the actor is officially approved for the main role.Houston will portray Eric Draven , played by Brandon Lee in the original. Corinne Hardy has been given the director's chair. The actor will soon also be seen in the drama “The Long Way” and the horror film “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies,” and Timur Bekmambetov’s epic Ben-Hur, in which Houston also got the main role.  Amanda Schull joined John Travolta in I Am Wrath . In the center of the thriller is Stanley Hill , who is preparing a plan for revenge on the dirty policemen who never caught the murderer of his wife. Shull will play the main character's daughter. The project will be directed by Chuck Russell. Paul Sloan adapted the short story by Ivan Gauthier, which forms the basis of the film.  The actress is familiar to viewers for her role as Dr. Cassandra Reilly in the TV series "The Twelve Monkeys" ( 12 Monkeys ), also Amanda was noted for episodic appearances in shows such as Hawaii Police ( Hawaii Five-0 ), Grimm ( Grimm ), Lie to Me ( Lie to Me ) and Nikita "( Nikita ). Colm McCarthy's ( Sherlock ) debut film, She Who Brings Gifts , features Glenn Close ("101 Dalmatians") , Gemma Arterton (“Witch Hunters”) and Paddy Considine (“Dead Man's Shoes”).    The film will unfold in a dystopian future, where humanity has been virtually wiped out by a deadly fungus. The main character Melanie is infected, like everyone else, but, having a high level of intelligence, the girl is trying to find answers to questions about the world in which she lives.Camille Gatin and Angus Lamont will take over the production functions ...
