James Franco was embraced by death
James Franco , who in recent years has successfully filmed more than one literary work, found another interesting project for himself. According to Variety , Franco will be remaking the 1996 film In the Arms of Death for Lifetime .James wrote the script application for the future film, and the work on the text was continued by Amber Coney. Franco himself will take over as executive producer with the help of Vince Jolivett, Diane Sokolov and Rachel Verno. Melanie Aitkenhead will lead the filming of the remake. The original was released on NBC in 1996, and starred Tori Spelling and Ivan Sergei.
