According to the journalists of the edition The Hollywood Reporter , Disney is preparing for a new meeting with the charming Mary Poppins : the studio is taking on a musical full-length feature film about a nanny sorceress.The action of the picture will unfold 20 years after the events of the American film in 1964. At the same time, the source claims that the major does not consider the new project as a sequel. It is all about the same Mary Poppins and her joint adventures with the Banks family. The creators intend to draw ideas for the film in a series of novels about the famous nanny, written by Pamela Travers. The film will be directed by Rob Marshall , while the script is being written by David Magie (Life of Pi).
