Scorsese can do a risky trick
Hollywood filmmakers have tried several times, and sometimes not without success, to shoot a biopic of the famous stunt performer Evel Nivel. Paramount Pictures is also working on another biographical drama. According to the portal Deadline , the studio hired William Monahan to write the script for the film, and insiders suggest that this is how the major is trying to attract the attention of Martin Scorsese as the main candidate for the director's chair of the project.Monahan and Scorsese collaborated on The Departed, and Terence Winter, who knows the director from The Wolf of Wall Street, is one of the producers of the new film. The film will be based on Sheldon Zaltman's book Evel Knievel On Tour , which tells the story of Nivevel 's failed attempt to jump over the Snake River Canyon. When the creation of Zaltman went to press, Nivel immediately accused the author of revealing the delicate details of his life and the inaccuracy of the facts presented.  Whether or not Paramount accepts the offer, Scorsese will probably decide after the script is written. Sony is also working on the biopic Nivel , starring Channing Tatum. True, the project recently lost its director, Darren Aronofsky, who preferred another film.  As for Martin Scorsese , he is currently finishing work on the historical drama "Silence", which he intends to present at the Cannes Film Festival 2016. The director is also preparing for the filming of the film adaptation of the novel "The Devil in the White City" with Leonardo DiCaprio in the title role.
