Brave New World Shows Syfy
According to The Hollywood Reporter , Steven Spielberg's Amblin Television and Syfy will join forces for a TV adaptation of Aldous Huxley's novel " Brave New World ".The book will be adapted by Leslie Boehm ( Extant ), and will be executive produced by Darryl Frank ( Under the Dome ) and Justin Falvey ( Falling Skies ). First published in 1932, the story is set in a world free from poverty, war and disease. People take mind-altering drugs, and uncommitted sex and unbridled consumption of goods have become commonplace. The birth of new members of society does not take place in the traditional way, but in special incubators. Even before the birth of the world, people are divided into castes, and those who do not adapt to life in society are sent to reservations. One of the main characters, John , nicknamed Savage , with all his appearance shows that he does not want to put up with the structure of society, and represents a real threat to the well-equipped life of the consumer society.  “ Brave New World is one of the most influential classic novels of all time,said Syfy President Dave Howe. -The author's view of the future is relevant now.
