Fool Julia Roberts
Julia Roberts has decided to star in a mystical thriller called Fool Me Once , reports The Hollywood Reporter . The Hollywood star will also take over the production functions of the project, which will be the adaptation of the novel of the same name by Harlan Coben. The book appeared in US stores only last week and, apparently, immediately came to the attention of Julia .The plot revolves around a woman named Maya. Maya is a military pilot, she returns home after another operation, watching something unthinkable on the monitor of the baby monitor - her two-year-old daughter is playing with her dad. But the main character's husband was brutally murdered two weeks ago, and the question creeps into her head: can a person see something that does not exist, even if he really wants to? .. The works of Coben have already been on the big screens before, though not on a Hollywood scale. In 2006, French director Guillaume Canet filmed another Harlan thriller, Don't Tell Anybody. Studio Warner Bros. planned to shoot an English-language remake of this film, entrusting the director's chair to Ben Affleck, but he left the project to play Batman .
