“If you understand that you cannot continue, tell yourself:“ I’m flying! ”.LostFilm.INFO presents a voice-over trailer for the biographical drama “ Program ” about life and career of the legendary American cyclist Lance Armstrong. The film was directed by Stephen Frears (The Queen, Philomena), and the main role was played by Ben Foster.The story will focus on an investigation by an Irish sports journalist convinced that Lance Armstrong used doping during his Tour de France victories. As a reminder, in 2012, Armstrong was disqualified for life for the use of prohibited substances, and also stripped of all his titles, earned since 1998. The Programs premiered at the Toronto Film Festival on September 13th. Critics were greatly impressed by Foster's performance, and also noted that, despite a rather superficial approach to the topic, the director managed to tell an interesting story about survival in the world of big-time sports.
