Is DC preparing a project about Bruce Wayne's butler?
The rapidly developing DC cinematic universe may be replenished with a new project about the famous comic book hero. Bleeding Cool reports that Warner Bros. and DC Comics have registered the trademark Pennyworth . Fans of the graphic novels about Batman know that this name is borne by the devoted butler of the Wayne family - Alfred .According to rumors, the registration of the trademark is connected with the desire of the WB bosses to dedicate a solo project to the faithful assistant of the Dark Knight , for example, an animation project. Cartoons based on DC comics are very popular with viewers and critics, but they are mostly released directly on video. It is possible that WB and DC may make the central character of the story the daughter of Alfred , who played an important role in the plot of the recent comic book Batman Eternal.  If Alfred himself becomes the protagonist of the spin-off, the project can be implemented both in the form of a feature film and a TV series. In the upcoming blockbuster Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Pennyworth will be portrayed by Jeremy Irons, and in the popular TV series thriller Gotham , the mentor of young Bruce Wayne played by Sean Pertwee.
