Rapunzel goes to TV
According to Collider , Disney has begun work on an animated series based on its animated hit Rapunzel: A Tangled Story .The series will unfold in the interval between the events of the original cartoon and the short film Rapunzel: Happy Forever. Rapunzel has to postpone preparations for the impending wedding in order to embark on an amazing journey. She will be accompanied by characters already known to the audience like Eugene , the horse Maximus and the chameleon Pascal , as well as a completely new character in the franchise - the servant Cassandra . The voices of Rapunzel and Eugene will be presented again to Mandy Moore and Zachary Levy, while Alan Menken and Glenn Slater will return to work on the soundtrack, who received a nomination for “ Oscar"in the Best Song category. Chris Sonnenberg and Shane Prigmore will be producing.  The budget of the 50th full-length cartoon of the studio Disney was a record in the history of animation $ 260 million , and its worldwide box office receipts exceeded $ 591 million .
