Congratulations to Oleg Tabakov!
Today, a great film and theater actor, director, talented teacher, People's Artist of the USSR Oleg Tabakov celebrates his 80th birthday. Oleg Pavlovich was born into a family of doctors in the city of Saratov. While still a schoolboy, he began attending the theatrical circle "Young Guard" , which was opened at the Saratov Palace of Pioneers and Schoolchildren. Those classes played a decisive role for Tabakov in the choice of his future profession.In 1953, Oleg Pavlovich came to conquer Moscow. He was admitted to two universities at once - GITIS and Moscow Art Theater School , but Tabakov preferred the latter option, considering that it was Moscow Art Theateris the pinnacle of theatrical pedagogy. After graduating from the Studio School Oleg Pavlovich got into a completely new theater, Studio of Young Actors , which was created by Oleg Efremov. Later it was named Sovremennik , and Tabakov turned out to be the youngest of the six founders of the theater. Subsequently, the artist was its artistic director for almost seven years. At the same time, Oleg Pavlovich felt an urge to teach and organized his first acting course at GITIS . Almost at the same time, Tabakov opened his own theater studio in Moscow, which was later dubbed Tabakerka .  The debut of Oleg in cinema took place in his third year of study at the Moscow Art Theater - that was the role of Sasha Komelev in the film by Mikhail Schweitzer “ Sasha enters life ". The distinctive features of the heroes that Tabakov played at the beginning of his career were straightforward judgments and the ability to defend their own point of view. Among his early images are Viktor Bulygin from People on the Bridge , Sasha Egorov from Probationary Period , Earring from " Clear Sky " and Nikolay Rostov from " War and Peace ".  All in all, Oleg Pavlovich has more than 120 roles in film and television. Among his most famous projects can be found such films and series as " The Deer King ", " Burn, Burn, My Star ", " The Heart of USA b>”,“ The case of Polynin ”,“ Property of the Republic ”,“ Seventeen Moments of Spring ”,“ Unfinished Piece for Mechanical piano "," 12 chairs "," D'Artanyan and three Musketeers "," Moscow does not believe in tears "," A few days in the life of Ilya Ilyich Oblomov ”,“ Man from the Boulevard of Capuchins ”and many others. Every viewer is probably familiar with the work of Tabakov from the cartoons from the series " Prostokvashino ": Oleg Pavlovich gave his voice to the cat Matroskin , forever leaving a mark in the hearts of children and adults. Thanks to the talent of Tabakov , the cat from the books of Eduard Uspensky has become a symbol of childhood for several generations. And the artist himself is often jokingly compared to this mustache-striped character.  Today Oleg Pavlovich continues to delight fans with his participation in the performances of Snuffboxes . In addition, this grandiose artist is the artistic director of two theaters at once - Moscow Art Theater im. Chekhov and the same Snuffboxes .
