Just One Movie
The Hollywood Reporter announces that Isaac Uptaker and Elizabeth Berger are adapting Gail Foreman's bestsellers Just One Day and "Just One Year" for a film adaptation planned by Universal . The studio intends to create one film based on two books. Josh Schwartz ("Anatomy of Love") and Stephanie Savage ("Gossip Girl" / Gossip Girl ) are producing the project.The books tell the story of a young couple who spent only one fine day together before parting ways. For the next year, Ellison and Willem searched for each other, and also tried to find themselves in this crazy world. According to the creators of the drama, its atmosphere will remind viewers of such films as "Before Dawn" and "500 Days of Summer".   Uptaker and Berger have already worked together on an adaptation of Jay Asher and Carolyn Macler's novel Our Future, as well as on the TV series My Boy ( About a Boy ) and "Neighbors" ( The Neighbors ).
