Investigation Discovery will start filming its own series
The channel Investigation Discovery , known for documentaries and programs on the investigation of high-profile crimes, is starting to create drama series of its own production. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter , the channel has given the green light to the three-part project Serial Thriller .The mini-series will be based on real events, but the name of the serial killer, whose crimes the main characters of Serial Thriller will be investigating, is still kept secret. The president of the Discovery channel group, Henry S. Schleiff, noted that the offender became famous not only for the number of victims, but also for numerous prison escapes. Reportedly, viewers will be given a chance to guess the name of the criminal right in the course of the plot. Jamie Crawford, Steve Murphy, Lindsay Chapero, Matt Robins and Eugenia Vink will take over as producers. Serial Thriller will premiere this summer.  The bosses of Investigative Discovery have also announced the start of work on two more detective mini-series, the plot details of which are still kept secret.
