Will Hoyt Van Hoytem take Wonder Woman to Italy?
Movie Web reports that Hoyt Van Hoytem (the cameraman behind Interstellar) will take on the blockbuster Wonder Woman , which was filmed are rumored to be partially held in Italy.Back in February, there were news that the picture of the company Warner Bros . will go to work in the fall. Now it became known that part of the filming will be carried out in the picturesque area of Basilicata in southern Italy, where many ancient buildings have survived, although this information has not yet been officially confirmed. It is not yet known how much of the film will be filmed in Basilicata, but it is safe to say that Wonder Woman is far from the first Hollywood project to be produced in this region of Italy. Mel Gibson worked here on the biblical epic "The Passion of Christ" (2004), and most recently Timur Bekmambetov visited here to shoot Ben-Hur, the American release of which is expected winter 2016 .  According to the comics, Wonder Woman was born and raised on the Amazon island of Temiskira, created by the goddesses of Olympus Athena , Aphrodite , Demeter and Hestia . The female warriors inhabiting this place are the reincarnated souls of women killed by their husbands. Men are forbidden to appear on Themyscira, but once the plane of the military pilot Steve Trevor crashed there, and Diana (aka Wonder Woman ) got the right accompany him to his homeland.  Chris will play the role of Trevor in the upcoming blockbuster Pine, and Gal Gadot will appear in the form of a brave Amazon. The project is directed by Patty Jenkins and scripted by Jason Fuchs (Ice Age 4: Continental Drift). In addition to Nolan's space epic, Hoyt van Hoytem worked with the films "Fighter", "Spy, Get Out!" and "She".The release of the picture is scheduled for June 23, 2017 , and a few months later, November 16 , the first part of the Justice League blockbuster will be released.
