Casting: the women of Almodovar and the avalanche
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter , Pedro Almodovar has found performers for the lead roles in his new film about the difficult fate of women, called Silencio . The director invited Emma Suarez and Adriana Ugarte to shoot the film.The actresses will play the same heroine, Juliet , but at different periods of her life. The film, set in 1985, tells the story of how the life of a woman who is now on the verge of insanity has changed over 30 years. The director, by tradition, will reveal the themes of fate, guilt, and at the same time show what makes a person leave his family and loved ones. Emma Suarez is a famous Spanish actress who won the Goya award for the painting "Dog in the Manger". In the track record of Adriana Ugarte , you can find the series "Threads of Fate" ( El tiempo entre costuras ) and "Central Hospital" ( Hospital Central ).   Inma Cuesta, Rossi De Palma, Dario Grandinetti, Joaquin Notario and Daniel Grao will also take part in the shooting. The same source reports that Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Enough Words, The New Adventures of Old Christine ) is in talks to get the lead role in a remake of the Swedish film " Force Majeure ". The original drama isabout a family vacationing in the Alps. When an avalanche suddenly descends from the mountains to the resort, the father of the family runs away, leaving his wife and two children behind. After such an act, even the strongest family relationships are cracked.  Ruben Estlund's film won the Golden Beetle award at home and was nominated for a Golden Globe in the Best Foreign Film category.
