Aquaman Lured New Writer Into Its Web
Last August, we reported that Will Bill and Kurt Johnstad have begun writing two different scripts for the adaptation of the Aquaman comic. Today the bosses of the studio Warner Bros. have decided to use the services of another author - David Johnson ("The Walking Dead" / The Walking Dead ), reports The Hollywood Reporter .It has not yet been announced whether the screenwriter will start working on the plot of the film from scratch or whether he will have to make edits to one of the finished texts. Johnson already has experience working with the studio WB on the paintings "Little Red Riding Hood" and "Wrath of the Titans". Familiar with David and with Aquaman director James Wan, who is currently implementing his script on the set of The Conjuring 2: Poltergeist at Anfield. Insiders speculate that the involvement of Johnson to work on the project may be due to the desire of the leadership of WB to add the spouse of Aquaman to the plot of the film. According to rumors, the queen of the underwater world Mera may make her screen debut in the blockbuster Justice League, the first of two parts of which will be released on November 17, 2017 . Officials from the film company have not yet commented on this information.  The USA premiere of Aquamen is scheduled for July 26, 2018 .
