Casting: Doctor Strange's Assistant and Young Idealist
Despite the fact that the filming of " Doctor Strange " is already in full swing, until now one of the key roles in the blockbuster has remained vacant. According to Empire , Benedict Wong was the last to join the cast.The events of the tape, we recall, revolve around a former neurosurgeon named Stephen Strange . After a terrible disaster, he went in search of the healing of his own soul and eventually became one of the most powerful magicians. But even a person like Strange needs an assistant who can keep track of business and home in his absence, help pump combat skills and assist during occult rituals. Benedict Wong will play the titular character's devoted servant, who, by a lucky coincidence, is also called Wong . The role of Stephen Strange is played by Benedict Cumberbatch, and he was accompanied on the set by a galaxy of movie stars - Tilda Swinton, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Mads Mikkelsen, Michael Stullbarg and Amy Landecker. Filming is directed by Scott Derrickson ("Emily Rose's Six Demons").  Benedict Wong last year was featured in the science fiction film The Martian, and previously the actor has starred in films such as The Hummingbird Effect and Prometheus. A year earlier, actor Jason Fleming was about to make his first film, which he never managed to accomplish. Now the project has a new name, Eat Local , and one of the main roles in it will be played by Charlie Cox ("Daredevil" / Daredevil ). In addition to him, Mackenzie Crook, Dexter Fletcher, Freema Ajeman and Billy Cook are taking part in the filming.  The plot of the picture revolves around the crook and slobber Sebastian ( Cook ), who met a seductive woman and is ready to spend a passionate night with her. In the company of a newly-made girlfriend, the hero finds himself on an abandoned farm, where a band of vampires are already waiting for the guests. For them, Sebastian is just a toy, but the boy's troubles are not limited to this. A gang of vampire hunters rushes into the party, and the farm turns into a living hell ...  Finally, Divergent star Theo James is planning to join Ben Kingsley on the set of Backstabbing for Beginners Betrayal for Beginners . If the negotiations are successful, the actor will play the role of Michael - a young idealist who got a dream job in the UN program Oil for food ... The reality turns out to be more severe - the guy finds himself in a cruel world where insatiable government agents are waging a war for oil. Michael suspects that a conspiracy is being prepared in the highest circles, and if he tells about everything, he will endanger not only himself, but also his mentor ( Kingsley ).
