Rudd and Coogan will make the perfect family
The Variety portal announces a new collaboration between Paul Rudd and Steve Coogan . The actors who have starred in the comedies Night at the Museum and My Dumb Brother will join forces for the new film by Andrew Fleming. They will play a married couple whose dysfunctional life together will turn into a movie story called " Ideal Family ".Erasmus ( Coogan ) is a popular and terribly moody celebrity, and his spouse Paul ( Rudd ) is a missing companion from the sky of the stars, who, however, has enough pride to disagree with his beloved and make their already difficult extravagant life unbearable. The grandson of Erasmus who suddenly appears out of nowhere can become a panacea. No one has ever heard of him, but, except for a famous relative, this grandson has no one else to go to. With great reluctance, the spouses agree to shelter the poor fellow... Rudd , until recently best known for the comedies of Judd Apatow, appeared last year in the commercially successful "Ant-Man", which also received flattering reviews from film critics. The actor will return to this look at least twice - in May in the film Captain America: Civil War and in a solo sequel, scheduled for July 2018. The two-time Oscar nominee Steve Coogan began filming a drama starring Richard Gere in January. This year Oliver Schmitz's picture "Shepherds and Butchers" is to be released, in which the Englishman also played one of the main roles.  Ideal Family is produced by Gabriel Tana, Maria Teresa Arida, Maxime Remillard and Aaron Ryder.
