DiCaprio and Bay to talk about redemptive cycling
The Hollywood Reporter shares information that Leonardo DiCaprio and Michael Bay are collaborating on an unnamed project for the Rwandan national cycling team.DiCaprio and Bay will produce the film, which will be directed by Orlando von Einsiedel. His directorial work Virunga, a documentary on the rescue of an endangered species of gorillas in the Congo, was nominated for an Oscar . DiCaprio was listed as the executive producer of this tape. The new project, which has no script yet, will tell about Jacques Boyer - the first American cyclist to take part in the prestigious Tour de France . By the age of 32, he had won more than 40 races and decided to retire from the big sport. After that, a series of failures began in the life of Boyer . A burned-out business and a relationship with a teenage girl that ended in jail for Jacques is a vivid confirmation of this.  The athlete found salvation from public censure in Rwanda, which at that time was trying to recover from the consequences of the genocide of the 90s.
