Frank Marshall: ”I will not hurt Indiana and the Bourne”
During his 45-year production career, the five-time Oscar-nominee Frank Marshall has been involved in the creation of such famous franchises as Back to the Future and Indiana Jones. Many filmmakers have long looked for a remake of the first, but last year director Robert Zemeckis made it clear that during his lifetime Hollywood should not count on the opportunity to re-shoot the travel story of Marty McFly and Doc Brown b>.In an interview with Variety Marshall supported Zemeckis , stating that he would not insult the heroes of his other popular films. “Neither Indiana Jones nor the Jason Bourne series will take the Bond path, Frank said. "I can't imagine anyone other than Harrison Ford and Matt Damon as these iconic characters." Recall that insiders predicted many Hollywood stars for the role of the new Indiana Jones , but last month the management of the studio Disney officially announced that in the fifth film about the adventures of a fearless archaeologist they will again play Harrison Ford .  According to Marshall , the fifth installment of the franchise will not be a prequel or a reboot, but a direct sequel to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
