Starship Troopers may go to TV
In an interview with Hitfix , producer Neil H. Moritz shared information about the fate of the reboot of the Starship Troopers franchise, work on which was launched back in December 2011.The last time the project was heard in the summer of 2012, when Moritz and Toby Jaffe announced their desire to treat the text of Robert E. Heinlein more carefully than Paul Verhoeven did in 1997. Zach Stentz and Ashley Miller (X-Men: First Class, Thor) started working on the screenplay for the famous science fiction novel then. "We are continuing to work on this project," said Moritz . -At the moment we are deciding whether to make a feature film for us or to transfer the story to small screens”.  Stentz and Miller have extensive experience in television. Their track record includes popular science fiction series such as Fringe and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles . The original film by Paul Verhoeven , which grossed $ 121 million with a budget of $ 105 million , became the basis of three sequels and the animated series Starship Troopers: The Chronicles "( Roughnecks: The Starship Troopers Chronicles ).
