King's Confrontation Postponed Again

Image The ongoing attempt by Hollywood filmmakers to transfer Stephen King's Confrontation to screens for several years now seems to be delayed again. According to the portal Collider , Josh Boone even wrote the last draft of the script and enlisted the support of the actors, but Warner Bros. lost the rights to film the novel, which returned to CBS Films . While the fate of the project remains unknown: the studio can sell it to another major or remove the adaptation on its own. All this will take time, and Confrontation will be postponed indefinitely.

Josh Boone wasted no time and decided to adapt another piece by King - the thriller Rebirth . The script for the film has already been written, and the director, together with producer Michael de Luca, awaits the verdict of Universal .

The novel is about a priest who lost his faith after a tragic incident with his wife and child. The hero finds salvation in something else - he begins to experiment with electricity and as a result becomes a healer who thinks himself almost God.
