Myst adaptation found shelter on Hulu
As reported by Deadline , the online service Hulu has acquired the rights to the Myst project. Last October, Cyan Worlds and Legendary TV started working on a series based on the eponymous gaming franchise.Their project attracted the interest of several TV channels and online services, but the bosses of Hulu decided to give the green light to the full first season immediately if they were satisfied with the scenario of the film adaptation. Evan Dougherty (Divergent) will lead the writing and Matthew Tolmach (The Amazing Spider-Man) will take over the production. In the center of the plot will be the Wanderer , who with the help of a magic book got to a mysterious island. From 1993 to 2002, the Myst franchise held the title of the world's most popular computer game series.  The online service Hulu also plans to work on the adaptation of Stephen King's novel 11/22/63.
