Official: Eddie Redmayne to play the wizard Newt Scamander
As reported by Movieweb , Warner Bros. President of Creative Development and International Production Greg Silverman announced that Eddie Redmayne (Stephen Hawking Universe ") Will play the main role in the spin-off of the Harry Potter franchise -" Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them ".We announced the interest of the Hollywood film company in the " Oscar " award winner back in April, but the actor has officially formalized relations with the studio only now. “ Eddie Redmayne has established himself as one of the most talented actors of our time, noted Silverman . -We are delighted to welcome him to the magical world of J.K. Rowling. We are sure that he will be able to perfectly embody the image of the central character " Fantastic animals and their habitats " - Newt Scamander ".
