20th Century Fox continues to pamper moviegoers with promo materials for one of the most anticipated projects of this year - the fantastic drama Ridley Scott The Martian . The iconic filmmaker hasn't been boasting outstanding work lately. His latest paintings, "Prometheus", "The Counselor" and "Exodus: Kings and Gods", could not please all critics and viewers. However, don't write off Ridley ahead of time.Following Alfonso Cuaron and Christopher Nolan, he reflects on the incomprehensibility of space and the vulnerability of a person who is alone with it. The basis was taken not the easiest material to transfer to the screen - the bestseller Andy Weir " The Martian ". One thing is certain: the dialogues and monologues in the future tape should be brilliant, as in the book.  According to the plot, a space expedition that flew to Mars was forced to urgently leave the planet due to a sandstorm that broke out. The entire crew managed to evacuate, except for the biological engineer Mark Watney , who lost contact with the ship. Deciding that their colleague has died, the team leaves the planet. The awakened Mark discovers a living unit with reserves of necessary resources, calculated for only 31 days, while the rescue mission, according to his calculations, should take at least four years. Now the hero needs to use all the power of his knowledge and ingenuity in order not only to establish a connection with the Earth, but also to stretch the supplies of food and water for a long period. And not to despair and not to go crazy helps him to have a fortitude and an endless sense of humor.
