Mark Millar Comics Continue to Conquer Screens
The blockbuster "Kingsman: The Secret Service", based on the popular comic book by Mark Millar , was a success at the box office, and therefore 20th Century Fox is already preparing to start filming a sequel to the film. According to the information portal Deadline , two more graphic novels by Millar will go to the screens.Waypoint Entertainment has acquired the adaptation rights for American Jesus ( American Jesus ) and Supercrooks ( "Supervors" ). New projects will be produced by Ken Kao, Dan Kao, Russell Ackerman and John Schoenfelder. American Jesus tells the story of a 12-year-old boy who suddenly realizes that he is the second Jesus to come to earth. He can turn water into wine, walk on water, and possibly raise the dead. But will the boy be able to save all of humanity from the conflict that has been brewing for millennia? ..  Super Thieves is a comic book about eight supervillains who have already retired, but are ready to return to their path to rob the most dangerous crime boss in the world. Mark Millar graphic novels have formed the basis of films such as Wanted, Kick-Ass and its sequel, as well as the upcoming blockbuster Captain America: Civil War. In addition, adaptations of his comics Chrononauts, MPH, The Excellent, Hack and Starlight are in various stages of development.
