Detective Newton
Studio Warner Bros. , in competition with other Hollywood film companies, acquired the rights to the project Principia , reports Deadline .The script was written by Christian Contreras , who has appeared in episodic roles in films such as Target One, World War Z and Fury. After moving to Hollywood, the actor decided to try himself as a screenwriter. Its text aroused the interest of David S. Goyer , who presented it to the WB leadership. Goyer will take over the production functions and Contreras will continue working on the script. The thriller, the plot of which has already been compared to Christopher Nolan's The Prestige, will focus on the hunt of Isaac Newton on the notorious criminal. The script is based on real facts from the biography of the famous scientist. Newton was really fond of investigating crimes, and also helped to identify many counterfeiters, working as director of the Royal Mint .  Currently Goyer is busy working on the third season of Da Vinci's Demons and the blockbuster Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Contreras writes the script for the drama Labyrinth about the investigation of the murders of rappers Tupac Shakur and Christopher Wallace.
