As reported by The Wrap , Warner Bros. has embarked on a quest to cast the role of the famous comic book hero Wonder Woman - Steve Trevor b>.Trevor first appeared in comic book pages in 1941. In the original graphic novels, a U.S. intelligence officer's plane crashed on Paradise Island during World War II. The princess of the Amazons Diana took care of the wounded, and then decided to follow her lover to America. It was rumored that the role of Trevor was given to Scott Eastwood , but now insiders insist that the actor will appear as another hero of the comics DC . The first appearance on the screens of the son of Clint Eastwood will take place in "Suicide Squad", and his contract will be designed for several films at once.  Two days ago, Michelle McLaren succeeded Patty Jenkins as director of Wonder Woman. With a new helmsman on board, WB is ready to continue casting for the project. Reportedly, Steve Trevor is currently auditioning for Alexander Skarsgard (Battleship) and Liam Hemsworth (The Hunger Games) ...   The USA premiere of Wonder Woman is scheduled for June 23, 2017 .
