Animated Ghostbusters Find Director
This summer, fans of the Ghostbusters universe will be able to appreciate how successful the idea was to reboot the iconic film series starring the fair sex. Sony seems to believe in the success of Paul Feig's tape, as its management announced last October that they would like to complement the franchise with a full-length animated film.According to The Hollywood Reporter , renowned ad director Fletcher Moles will lead the production of the Ghostbusters cartoon. In his career, he has worked with animation for commercials for Honda cars and the video game Clash of Clans . The details of the plot of the cartoon are still kept secret, but insiders speculate that it will be linked to the events of the first two parts of the film series. The producer functions will be taken over by one of the creators of the " Ghostbusters " franchise - Ivan Reitman. A year ago, Sony bosses invited Reitman and Dan Aykroyd to lead the Ghost Corps company, which will help the Hollywood major to create a new cinematic universe. At the moment, Sony is working on another project about fighters against evil spirits - the so far unnamed feature film by Joe and Anthony Russo, in which Channing Tatum is claiming the lead role.
