James Gunn and MGM are preparing a scary experiment
According to Variety, James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy) and MGM have appointed Australian Greg McLean to direct a new horror film called The Belco Experiment. Gunn wrote the script himself and will co-produce the project, which will start production this summer.The plot will focus on a group of Americans who, while in South America, find themselves mysteriously isolated from the rest of the world at their workplace, in the office of Belco . Now the heroes have to fully manifest their true essence, for the sake of freedom, having made a choice between murder and suicide. Gunn wrote this script a few years ago and, commenting on the appointment of Greg as director of the film, he admitted:“I am incredibly pleased that this project will finally be realized. Believe it or not, the idea came to me in a dream. When I woke up, I immediately rushed to write the script. "  McLean was noted in the horror genre with such films as "Wolf's Bay" and "Crocodile".
