Jack and the Magic Beans is going all bad
According to The Hollywood Reporter , Disney and Vince Gilligan ( Breaking Bad , "Battle Creek" / Battle Creek ) are starting to collaborate on the adaptation of the children's fairy tale "Jack and the Beanstalk" .The studio is currently in talks with Gilligan to purchase his script proposal, Beanstalk ( Beanstalk ), which is described as a new take on the story of a little boy, magic beans and a giant. The scriptwriter for the project will be Thomas Schnaus, who has worked with Vince on the series Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul ( Better Call Saul ). Gilligan and Mark Johnson are responsible for the production.  Disney is planning to create full-length game versions of cartoons, most of which are based on fairy tales. The studio has already used the story of Jack in their Mickey and the Beanstalk animation, replacing the boy with Mickey Mouse , Donald Duck and Goofy .  One of the most recent adaptations of the popular fairy tale is the film "Jack the Giant Slayer", directed by Brian Singer. Although the film received good reviews from audiences, it grossed only $ 197 million at the box office, barely covering a budget of $ 195 million .
