Shyamalan dreams of bringing Invincible to TV
In an interview with journalists IGN M. Night Shyamalan has announced that he is ready to consider creating a television sequel to his cult superhero drama Invincible .“I would be interested to continue this story, - noted Shyamalan . -Why not make a six-part miniseries for Netflix or cable channels? I have an idea for creating a project that could flow from one form to another. It would be interesting to start the story with a film, continue with a series, and end with a play that can be watched on the Internet ...”. In 2000, " Unbreakable ", starring Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson, was critically acclaimed and earned $ 248 million worldwide on a budget of $ 75 million . However, Touchstone Pictures management considered this result unsatisfactory and did not give the director the go-ahead to work on a sequel.  The two-time Oscar nominee has recent television experience. Shyamalan directed the pilot and produced all ten episodes of the mystical thriller Wayward Pines , which successfully launched on Fox on last week.
