Director found a remake of ”Roadside Diner”
Just a month ago, it was reported that Rhonda Rosie ("Fast and Furious 7") will star in the remake of " Roadside Diner ". Now, The Hollywood Reporter reports that MGM has found a director for a new version of the cult action movie - Nick Cassavetes .The original was released in 1989 and featured abouncer named James Dalton (Patrick Swayze) who is hired by the owners of a bustling Missouri bar to clean up the mess. However, in addition to clashes with a bunch of drunks visiting the institution, Dalton has to confront a racketeer who intends to destroy the hated bar. In the remake, Dalton will be replaced by a girl who will be played by Rosie , but other details of her role are still unknown, as well as details of the new film. While the bosses MGM are busy looking for writers who are ready to rework the plot of the iconic movie. Filming is scheduled to begin in 2016.  In the filmography of Nick Cassavetes you can find projects of various genres - and the romantic melodrama "The Notebook", and the crime drama "Alpha Dog", and the thriller "John Cue".
