New trailer for A Quiet Place 2 premiered
Cinema News presents a new trailer for the fantastic thriller A Quiet Place 2, which will be a sequel to the acclaimed 2018 movie. After the dramatic events in the first part, the remaining members of the Abbott family (Emily Blunt, Millie Simmonds, Noah Joop) must face the horrors of the outside world, continuing their struggle for survival in silence. They quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats left outside the sandy trail. The movie will feature new characters played by Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou. John Krasinski, who directed and starred in the first movie, has returned to the director's chair. His character, husband and father Lee Abbott, will appear in flashbacks. Earlier in an interview, he talked about what goals he pursued, starting work on the sequel. "It was very important for me to get to the bottom of this story, and therefore we are starting to figure out how it all began," he said. In USA, the tape was announced for release on March 19, 2020.
