The Sandman Has New Writer
When Joseph Gordon-Levitt joined the Sandman team at the end of 2013, it seemed that the adaptation of Neil Gaiman's cult comic strip would finally get off the ground. In December 2014, news came that the bosses of Warner Bros. were satisfied with the script by Jack Thorne, but last summer the project came under the wing of the studio New Line Cinema , whose leadership wanted to change the plot of the film .According to The Hollywood Reporter , David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight, Da Vinci's Demons ) worked on the draft structure of the new version of the script, and the final design the text will be handled by Erik Heisserer ("The Thing"). Tom Hiddleston ("Thor", "The Night Manager" / The Night Manager ), who received support from Neil Gaiman , but now to insiders information reached that the image of Morpheus is ready to embody Gordon-Levitt .  Joseph was wooed for this role back in 2013, but he himself insisted that he plans to limit himself to producing functions.
