As reported by Entertainment Weekly , The CW has begun work on a TV series based on the novel " The Memory Diary ".In 2004, the bestselling novel by Nicholas Sparks became the basis for the plot of the melodrama of the same name by Nick Cassavetes, starring Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling. The film received mixed reviews from critics but became a box office hit, earning over $ 115 million on a budget of $ 29 million .
