Mirror's Edge to Become a TV Series
As the information site Deadline found out, Endemol Shine Studios decided to turn the popular computer game Mirror's Edge into a serial and acquired the rights to its television adaptation.The original, developed by EA DICE , is set in a dystopian city of the future. Law enforcement agencies have complete control over communications. In order for people to be able to send messages to each other, there is a whole network of couriers. These include the main character Faith - an excellent runner and a trained warrior whose sister is accused of murder. The girl has to enter into a difficult struggle with the current government and become part of a conspiracy that can destroy the established order in society. “In Mirror's Edge we see the potential to create a franchise that will appeal to audiences around the world, said Sharon Hall, President of Endemol Shine Studios . -The central character is a strong woman, and the game itself has a huge army of fans ".
