As reported by The Hollywood Reporter , Emily Blunt is in talks to star in The Girl on the Train (“ The Girl on the Train "*), an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Paula Hawkins.The director's chair of the project is Tate Taylor ("The Servant"), the plot of the book will be adapted by Erin Cressida Wilson ("Chloe"), the film will be produced by Mark Platt. If the negotiations are successful, Emily Blunt will playa girl whose life is full of problems, including a recent divorce and alcohol addiction. Every day she gets on the train and as she drives past the same house, she watches the perfect couple eating breakfast on the terrace. But one evening the heroine returns home, all stained with blood. She does not remember what happened, but begins to suspect that either she committed the crime herself or witnessed it.
