Son of Nimoy prepares documentary on Spock
Adam Nimoy , the son of legendary actor Leonard Nimoy, has announced plans to make a documentary about Spock , the hero that earned his father cult status among fans of the series Star path "(Star Trek) . Adam is also ready to act as a producer of the tape.The movie, titled For the Love of Spock , will mark the 50th anniversary of the franchise, which launched on September 8, 1966. Zachary Quinto, who played Spock in the last two films in the series, will be the narrator. “This will be a tribute to my father and Spook , - told Adam to Variety . -We have a lot of material for the film, because Dad loved the role and loved to tell all sorts of stories. In addition, he has written two books - I Am Spock and I Am Not Spock .  Adam also said that he started discussing this project with Leonard a few months ago. Together, they decided that the film should focus on the resilience of Spock and how Nimoy himself embodied the implacable logician. Last year, Nimoy- the elder admitted to suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, but continued to work on the film and even talked about it with his son two days before his death.  According to Adam , William Shatner, who played Captain Kirk in the original series, has already agreed to take part in the filming of the documentary.
