Golden Bear saw fire at sea
66th Berlin International Film Festival has finished its work in Germany.Eighteen films competed for the main award of the Berlinale this year, and in total, over 400 films were presented to the audience during the festival. According to preliminary data, half a million people visited the festival's viewing halls in ten days. The famous festival also hosted the European Film Market , which was attended by over eight thousand filmmakers from a hundred countries. The jury of the film festival, headed by Meryl Streep, awarded the main prize of the Berlinale 2016 to Gianfranco Rosi's documentary " Fire in the Sea " about the small Mediterranean island of Lampedusa, faced with an influx of refugees from African countries.
