Scarlett of the Black Lagoon
The Tracking Board reports that Universal has offered Scarlett Johansson the lead role in the remake “ Creatures from the Black Lagoon >", A classic horror film by Jack Arnold 1954.The original film tells how, during an expedition to the Amazon, a group of scientists discovered a strange creature - half human, half fish. Julie Adams played the main character, who later was equal to many horror stars, and the film itself subsequently received two sequels. The idea for a remake of a classic horror movie appeared back in 1982, when Jack Arnold, the director of the original, planned to return to the franchise. However, the project was canceled, and since then John Carpenter, Gary Ross and Breck Eisner, as well as Guillermo del Toro have tried to create their own version.  The film "Creation from the Black Lagoon" was included in the classic horror series Universal along with such films as "Dracula", "Frankenstein", "The Mummy", "The Invisible Man "And" The Wolf Man ". In 2014, it was reported that the studio was planning to create a cinematic universe that would unite these popular film franchises. Alex Kurtzman and Chris Morgan were appointed curators of the project. The new remake is produced by Gary Ross , Robin Bissell, Mark Abraham and Eric Newman, and the script was written by the same Ross , co-written by Jeffrey Blitz, Tedy Sarafian and Paul Scheuring.  Very soon, Scarlett Johansson can be seen in one of the most anticipated blockbusters of 2015 - "Avengers: Age of Ultron", and the actress plans to work on "The Jungle Book" and shoot in the crime thriller "Ghost in armor ".
